Family Preservation and Support Services

Service Description

A voluntary, early intervention program for families who are at high risk of entering the child protection system. Support is given to families to work towards keeping children living safely at home and reduce future problems. Services include parenting groups, one on one support, and promotion of child development to reduce risk of abuse and neglect. Programs generally are available for twelve months and available to families who are expecting a child or have children up to nine years of age.
