The Shepherd Centre - Hear For You Program
Service Description
Hear For You is a program run by The Shepherd Centre that provides mentoring and support for teens and young people who are deaf or have hearing loss. Created by people with lived experience, Hear For You offers a welcoming community where children and teens can connect with others who truly understand what it's like to grow up in a hearing world. Through workshops and mentoring, we help young people build confidence, improve communication, manage school and wellbeing, and explore future opportunities. Our programs run across New South Wales, Queensland, ACT and Tasmania, giving participants the chance to develop resilience, form lasting friendships and feel empowered to embrace their own path.
