Multicultural Health Service
Service Description
A service within the Local Health District, to improve the capacity of services provided to the diverse and multicultural population within the community. It identifies needs of the specific cultural, religious and linguistic needs and addresses health inequities. It provides strategic direction, consultancy, workforce and project development, by working in partnership with government and non-government agencies, in order to build capacity of CALD communities.
