Service Description

Muslim Women Australia is a representative body for Muslim women working to enrich humanity, advocating for equality and the rights of all women, through authentic leadership based on our Islamic principles. MWA has been supporting and advocating on behalf of all women and Muslim women in particular for over 36 years. MWA operates a variety of programs catered to women, including Linking Hearts, for those who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence and/or homelessness. Services include casework, information and referral to other programs such as mental health, housing, legal, employment, childcare, health, education, immigration, aged care. There are education programs, including English classes, general support groups, assistance with form filling, information sessions covering relevant topics, emergency relief and settlement services.
