Service Description
Cares for surrendered, neglected and abandoned animals until suitable adoption found. There are two animal shelters in NSW. Inspectors are available to respond to reports of animal neglect or cruelty, a full service veterinary hospital, a desexing program, foster care network, pet boarding, and a bequest program for cats so they are looked after if their owner dies. Behaviour support and advice is available for people who adopt a pet.
