Service Description

The ACT Human Rights Commission provides a range of services and supports for people in the ACT. We are independent, free and accessible. • Human rights advocacy and monitoring • Complaints handling: make a complaint or raise a concern about human rights, discrimination, disability and community services, health services, services for children, mistreatment of older people and people with a disability, services for older people, occupancy disputes and privacy. • Services and supports for victims of crime and their families • Advocating for children, young people or adults in the ACT who are at risk of abuse, neglect or exploitation. • Listening to and advocating for children and young people • ACT Intermediary Program.

Phones are open 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Reception is open 9am–4:30pm Monday to Friday.
