Service Description

Across the South Coast, Southern, Far West and Blue Mountains regions of NSW, ACON's Regional Outreach Team is here for people of diverse sexualities and genders and people living with HIV take control of their health. The health priority areas include: HIV, sexual health, mental health, ageing, healthy relationships, alcohol & other drugs, community safety & inclusion, and self determination. The Regional Outreach team works with community groups, individuals and services to implement and work together on activities that support: * HIV and STI testing, treatment & staying safe * Promote a positive experience of sexual health * Provide safe sex information and resources * Support referrals to appropriate services * deliver inclusive service training and support * Advocate for an informed, healthy, resilient and inclusive sexuality and gender diverse community * Strengthen supportive environments.
