Service Description
Maximum and minimum security privately owned prison, located in the Southwestern area of Sydney. Houses 1000 adult male remand and sentenced prisoners. Remand prisoners are held for the period leading up to, and during, their trial whilst a smaller number of sentenced prisoners are at Parklea to complete offending behaviour programs and to undertake community work placements prior to their release.
