Service Description

Macarthur Family and Youth Services is dedicated to strengthening communities and providing essential support to vulnerable children, young people, and families. We offer a wide range of services aimed at preventing challenges from escalating. Our programs focus on early intervention, prevention, and crisis support, with the ultimate goal of reducing the need for out-of-home care and minimizing the involvement of child protection services. A key part of our mission is our strong commitment to supporting Aboriginal communities. Our Aboriginal caseworker specializes in delivering tailored support for Aboriginal children, young people, and families. Our services include parenting programs, school transition assistance, links to playgroups, family support, and specialized programs that address the unique needs of families. We also offer financial and gambling counseling to assist individuals and families in managing these challenges.
