Service Description
A major acute teaching hospital with 351 beds, and an Emergency Department. It provides major health and diagnostic services, include Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics, Intensive Care, Coronary Care, Paediatrics, Palliative Care, Mental Health, and Rehabilitation. There are 24 beds in the open Mental Health Unit and 4 for high dependency. Also a separate ward for people over 65 years requiring mental health treatment.
