Sydney Young Parents Program

Service Description

Provides safe, supported medium term accommodation to young parents under 25 years, who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, are couch surfing, experiencing child protection or domestic violence concerns. Couples are eligible if one partner does not have any drug or violence issues, fathers and mother accepted separately with children, and pregnant women. Mental illnesses must be managed to qualify for this program. Outreach is available to people leaving the program. Shared housing is offered with no staff onsite. Must be able to live independently. Available to young people aged 16-24 years.
