Service Description
Bravehearts provides counselling services to children and young people who have experienced child sexual assault or exploitation. Our specialized counselling services are located in Logan, Strathpine, Arundel and Mackay in QLD. Our Turning Corners Program (12-17yo; up to 21yo for individuals with an intellectual impairment) is for young people who have engaged, or are at risk of engaging, in harmful sexual behaviour. Turning Corners is offered from throughout QLD. Bravehearts is also a National Redress Support Service provider offering free and confidential support to anyone considering applying to the National Redress Scheme which was launched as an outcome from the 5-year Royal Commission Inquiry into Institutional Child Sexual Abuse. Bravehearts National Information and Support Line can be accessed by anyone wanting information or support relating to child sexual assault and exploitation.
