St Vincent's Hospital Consultation Liaison Psychiatry

Service Description

A diagnostic psychiatry service for patients at St Vincents who have a primary medical condition and an associated mental illness. Assesses and manages depression, self harm, psychosis, delirium and somatisation disorders. Also provides advice and support to clinicians within the hospital. Primarily works within the Psychogeriatric team, also in the Emergency Department, and other wards as required.
