St Vincent's Hospital Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre
Service Description
PECC is a 24/7, 6-bedded ward short-stay unit. Crisis interventions are delivered for a period of up to 48 hours. Consumers admitted to PECC are often in acute crisis, requiring a safe space to regulate and time to link in with other services. This is done in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) of the consumer and their family members.
