Service Description

Provides support and access to 24 hour telephone crisis support. Also offers community training in suicide prevention and intervention. For people 18 years and older. Lifeline exists to ensure that no person in Australia has to face their darkest moment alone. We provide the crucial moments of connection that bring hope and save lives. In addition to our well-known 24/7 crisis support phone line, we also offer crisis support via text and webchat. Additionally, we provide Community Education and capacity building workshops, and wellbeing support following natural disasters, and implement specific community-based suicide prevention strategies and projects.
