Service Description

MHDA, MLHD services provide specialist clinical support for anyone experiencing severe, complex or long lasting mental ill health. You can access services in hospital (acute inpatient services) and in the community (specialist community mental health services).Mental Health Inpatient services are provided in a purpose built facility on the campus of Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. Specialist community mental health services are based from six different service locations across the Murrumbidgee, and provide support for people of any age who are experiencing distress as a result of a mental illness or drug and alcohol use. Our teams who work closely with local GPs, community organisations and other health and social services. Other important members of our team include consumer peer workers, and family and carer support workers.
