Service Description
Works to improve the health and wellbeing of the community, which is patient focused and diverse. Covers urban and suburban communities and manages eight public hospitals and one public nursing home. Operates 28 Child and Family Health Centres, 12 Community Health Centres and nine Oral Health Clinics; providing prevention, early intervention and community-based treatment, palliative care and rehabilitation services. Also provides mental health services, drug and alcohol services, breastscreening, HIV/Aids, and other health services.
