WHOS RTOD (Residential Treatment for Opioid Dependence) Stabilisation Program
Service Description
A residential Therapeutic Community for men and women over 18 years of age who wish to stabilise on their opioid maintenance medication. The program is 4-6 months with transitional/exit house accommodation offered for a further 6 months. RTOD is a structured program consisting of group work, peer support, access to medical and mental health support to aid stablisation, stress management, harm reduction including infection disease education, family support and various other support networks. Dispensing of opioid replacement medication is at no cost to the client.
