Connecting- Urunga Neighbourhood Centre
Service Description
An information and referral community hub, that provides services and support to the local community. We link people up with other services and support networks and offer advocacy to support people to contact agencies and services to give them access the help they want. Services include public access computers and internet, free tax help service (Jul-Oct) for low income earners, No Interest Loans Scheme, supported Playgroup, free monthly community lunch, Emergency relief and low-cost room hire for community and outreach services.

Volunteering Opportunities
Yes; a team of wonderful volunteers run the front desk at the Centre. Volunteers are the first point of contact for anyone visiting or calling the Centre. Volunteer training and meetings are held.
