Service Description
The purpose is to help families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with someone whose drinking is a problem. The program of recovery is adapted from Alcoholic Anonymous and is based on the Twelve Steps Program. Anonymous fellowship for those affected by someone else's drinking, Weekly meetings in hundreds of locations. Meeting lists available on website www.alanon.org/australia. Alateen meetings are for Al-anon members under 18 years of age. Al-anon meetings are open to all.
