Service Description

Provides education and training to teach families and carers about mental illness, management and help to build coping skills and resilience. There is individual support and advocacy for families and carers of a person with mental illness provided by a Carer Support Worker. Carer support groups offered across the region. Works toward early intervention and support to families during early states of diagnosis and treatment, but offers support throughout the carer journey.
