Service Description

Rosemore Cottage offers professional care and overnight support to older people with low care needs in a home-like environment if their carer is unavailable or needs a break. Rosemore Cottage support carers to maintain their care relationships so that carers they can take a break from their caring role knowing their loved one is being looked after by professional care workers. The Cottage is based in Monterey, operating 24 hours and 7 days a week. To be eligible for Rosemore Cottage, you need to be 65 years or older and (50 years or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), who live in Southeast Sydney and have low care needs.
