NSW Quitline
Service Description
A confidential telephone service that provides support to people to help them plan how to quit smoking. Counsellors help with preparing to quit, avoiding slip ups and managing cravings, and how to stay smoke free. There is an option for a call back service from a counsellor, that provides additional supportive calls to assist with quitting to smoke. The iCanQuit website provides useful information on planning to quit and other relevant information. Quitline has Aboriginal counsellors, and bilingual counsellors who speak Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin and Vietnamese.
