A national organisation with the purpose of contributing to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in Australia. Promotes public awareness of child abuse and neglect, and develops effective prevention strategies and programs. The goals include child abuse prevention research, advocacy of policy and strategy, support for safety and welfare of children and young people, coordinating National Child Protection Week, and promoting community led prevention programs and initiatives.
