Small Steps Seminars
Service Description
Part of the Anxiety program through the WayAhead Mental Health Association NSW. Small Steps aims to raise awareness and improve recognition of anxiety disorders in children. The seminars specifically target teachers, principals, administrative staff and the parents of primary school aged children. Topics include: signs and symptoms of anxiety disorders, recognising anxiety disorders, different types of anxiety disorders, evidence based treatments for anxiety disorders, anxiety referral and treatment options and information packs.
