Small Steps Childhood Anxiety Program

Service Description

Small Steps is the Childhood Anxiety education program developed and delivered by Wayahead. The program includes a range of Small Steps seminars and webinars for parents and carers, teachers and early childhood educators. Anxiety can affect children's engagement and participation in activities at home and at school. We provide practical information and strategies to use with children aged 4-14 years. Topics include: signs and symptoms of anxiety, the anxiety cycle, strategies to manage anxiety and how to support children in small steps, to walk towards a worry rather than away from it.
