Service Description

The largest provider of grief and bereavement education in Australia. Provides advocacy and representation on grief and bereavement issues in order to inform policy development, raise community awareness and support universal access to mainstream grief and bereavement services. Resources for the public and professionals are available via the website. A number of education sessions for professionals are conducted in NSW throughout the year. Grief counselling is available to NSW residents at reasonable fee for service rates; however ACGB staff may be able to assist the bereaved with finding grief services in their state. Specialist grief and bereavement information and counselling support services are provided free of charge to all Victorians and Nationally, to residential aged care residents, home care recipients, their families, carers and aged care staff who have been affected by COVID-19.
