Southern Youth and Family Services (Wollongong)
Service Description
Provides support and assistance to vulnerable, homeless and disadvantaged young people and those at risk. It includes families and children of the young people. Services for ages 12-24 years of age, young people in the care of the State Department, people with disabilities, Aboriginal people, people from NESB, young offenders, people with mental health issues, those people requiring protection or who have been abused, refugees, people with at risk behaviours, including drug and alcohol abuse, attempted suicide and prostitution. Other support includes supported accommodation and community housing, counselling, and mediation.
