Service Description
The Centre for Women's Children's and Family Health has a number of programs available to women, children and Families in the local area. The intake team can provide and immediate response to women in crisis, women's health counselling can provide counselling support to women, and the child and adolescent counselling team can support women and children with counselling support around the needs of the children. The Family Mental Health support service provides counselling support to children, young people and their families where there is a risk to the young person developing poor mental health outcomes. The services specialises in supporting women and children who have experienced domestic violence with counselling, education and groups as well as the staying home leaving violence case management program that can support women and children to remain living in their homes excluding the person that chooses to use violence. The service also provides other general wellbeing groups program.
