Newcastle Sexual Assault Service
Service Description
A free confidential service staffed by female Social Workers, who are specialised in working with children and adults who have been sexually assaulted. There is a specialist paediatrician available. Priority is given to children and adults who have recently been sexually assaulted. Services include counselling, medical and forensic examination, support to non-offending family members, and court support and information.
