Temora Health Service
Service Description
The Temora Health Service is a 28 bed facility with 19 acute care beds, 5 maternity beds. Temora District Hospital provides emergency, general ward, surgical, obstetric, pathology and radiology services. The 24 hour Accident and Emergency Department is equipped with telehealth cameras to connect the team in Temora with specialists through the Critical Care Advisory Service and the remote Medical Consult Service. Community health services include community nursing, domestic violence counselling, physiotherapy, mental health and transitional aged care. Additional services provided by visiting staff include speech pathology, dietetics, dental and occupational therapy.
