Child and Adolescent Trauma Counselling Service

Service Description

Free, confidential and specialist counselling and education for children, adolescents and their families, where a young person has experienced trauma, including sexual assault or family violence. Support services provided by our expert, qualified counsellors are designed to address the symptoms, emotions and behaviours associated with trauma. Counselling can be provided face-to-face in Lismore, Goonellebah and throughout the Northern Rivers region. Short and long term support is provided dependent on need, to children, adolescents and non-offending family members. The service also assists with court support. Service users can access our wrap around suite of supports for emergency relief, food boxes, Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA), NILs loans, financial counselling, reproductive and sexual health, family and parents, homelessness, information, advice and assisted referrals.
