Service Description

Part of Allied Health Community Programs. It addresses primary and secondary disease prevention within the local community. It works toward objectives to deliver practices that influence the quality of health. The main issues that are targeted include healthy weight, tobacco control, sexual health- including HIV and Viral Hepatitis, harm minimisation and fall injury prevention. The units within this program include Aboriginal Health, Health Promotion, HIV and Related Programs, and Multicultural Health.
