Anglicare Adoption Services

Service Description

Provides a range of adoption services for children and families in NSW. Support for parents who are considering adoption for their child and with prospective adoptive families. Support is also available to people affected by past adoption or to access adoption information or connect with a family member. There are two programs, Local Adoption to place children born in NSW who do not have additional or specific care needs, and the Special Needs Program, to place children who may have a medical condition or disability that requires extra care. Special consideration is given for this program.

Referral System

Contact the agency directly if wishing to consider placing a child for adoption, becoming adoptive parents, or becoming a foster carer. Adoptive parents are eligible between ages 23-43 years.
