Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (Nexus) John Hunter Hospital
Service Description
Twelve bed acute inpatient unit for children and adolescents 5 to 17 years old with mental health problems. No outpatient assessments made. The ward also has dietitians, OT, teachers and social workers. Also holds a support group every Thursday for young people who are inpatients, offering craft and social activities.
