Family Advocacy

Service Description

Advocacy support is provided to families on behalf of a family member with disability. Provides support to develop family skills, knowledge and confidence. Advice is given to families in order to plan for future events, plan a course of action and provide referrals to other organisations that may assist. Advice is given for a range of issues, including ongoing care for an individual, transitions in life whether school, employment or relationships, and support services.
