Central Coast Community Legal Centre

Service Description

Central Coast Community Legal Centre is a community-owned, community-run, not-for-profit organisation whose purpose is to stand with our Central Coast community to help them face and overcome legal challenges in their lives. Our safe, non-judgemental, free legal help is given in a strictly confidential manner. This results in people being able to navigate the complexity of the legal system, feeling in control with less trauma. Advice is given by phone or in person, and outreach clinics. There is the Children's Court Assistance Scheme to support children and their families who are attending local court. Priority is given to financially disadvantaged people, Aboriginal people, people living in fear of violence, people with a disability and anyone else who is vulnerable or marginalised.
