South Pacific Private Hospital

Service Description

South Pacific Private is a licensed private psychiatric hospital with 54 beds. Opened in 1993, it was the first centre in Australia to treat addiction, trauma and mental health conditions in parallel, and to bring partners, family and close friends into the treatment itself. A multidisciplinary team of clinicians provide wraparound support including medical detox, specialist nursing care, psychiatric assessment and treatment, counselling, psychotherapy, group therapy, educational lectures and ongoing, individualised case management. A range of day programs run as a clinically structured step-down after discharge or as a standalone option for people who can't step away from work and family. Day program attendees can stay at Beachwood Recovery House, an 8-bed facility adjacent to the main building. South Pacific Private is a Rainbow Tick Accredited treatment centre, supporting the LGBTQIA+ community
