Telecross

Service Description

A team of Red Cross volunteers maintain telephone contact every day of the year with people aged 65 years and older, who live alone and are considered "at risk". People with complex mental health issues are not eligible. The service is for people who are frail, aged, with a disability that keeps them house bound, or recovering from an illness or accident. Referrals have to come through MAC and only clients on CHSP are eligible for the service.
