Service Description

A national advocate for action to reduce poverty and inequality. It is the peak body for the community service sector in Australia. It focuses on leading and supporting initiatives within the welfare and community services sectors, developing policy and action by government and business by using experiences of those people affected by poverty and inequality. Policy areas include income support and employment, economics and tax, housing and homelessness, sector policy, poverty and inequality, health and climate and energy.
