Service Description

Investigates complaints from people who believe they have had unfair or unreasonable treatment by an Australian Government Agency. It includes Australia Post, Centrelink, Child Support and Department of Immigration and Border Protection. Also oversees the ACT. They will hear dispute claims and try to resolve them quickly and reasonably by making formal recommendations to senior levels of government. Complaints may be lodged online. They do not make a decision, but consider the decision made and recommend how to enhance the decision process.
