Service Description
Investigates complaints from people who believe they have had unfair or unreasonable treatment by an Australian Government Agency, this may include problems with Australia Post, Centrelink, Child Support, NDIS and the Department of Immigration and Border Protection. Complaints can be lodged by phone, online or in person. They are free, independent and donât take sides. The Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman does not make a fresh decision, rather they consider the way a decision was made and make recommendations on how the decision or process could be improved.
